Soon soon after starting up his NHS job in 2010, Evans formed his personal firm, Promet Options Limited, which he registered as a supplier to the NHS – without having indicating he was linked with it.

Paul Tubb, defending Evans said he claimed there was an “ingrained culture” of senior management placing on Christmas events to boost employees morale, which was usually funded by the NHS, by holding a conference followed by a party.

Mr Tubb mentioned Evans acquired into economic issues when his former partner left him “out of the blue” and he struggled to meet his home loan and credit score card commitments.
