Charles Sasser, of Alburqurque, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s about 4 years in the past, but it was not right up until the last six months that he started to lose his speech.
He struggles to type comprehensive sentences and only speaks with a word right here and there, in accordance to his daughter Lisa Abeyta.
So when she noticed the big difference in her father when he is all around the family’s pet dog, Roscoe, she determined to movie a single of their encounters.
In the video, Charles can be observed talking calmly and obviously to Roscoe.
“Oh yeah, hey! You have got, you have received some thing! You have acquired one thing, huh?” he can be heard saying even though stroking the canine.
“Yeah, well, that … that is also undesirable, there. That is all. That’s all I’ve received.”
He adds: “Why will not I consider care. I’ll take you. And you consider me.”
Lisa advised ABC News that she developed the video with her teenage son to demonstrate the big difference that the canine created to her father and to “commemorate a gorgeous moment so that I could share it with my mom and family members.”
The clip has gone viral and has been viewed a lot more than 600,000 times because it was uploaded on Thursday.
