Women are currently being wrongly told that an abortion could enhance their danger of creating breast cancer, that the process could depart them infertile, or even make them far more likely to sexually abuse youngsters in the course of counselling sessions at independent advisory clinics.
Dr Kate Guthrie, spokesperson for the Royal University of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists stated there was no scientific evidence to propose an abortion put ladies at a better chance of breast cancer, or produced them more very likely to abuse a kid.
“Not only is there no proof for that, I think is a horrible factor to say to any female,” she stated.
Dr Guthrie extra that 1 of the counsellors recorded obviously was not up to date on present day techniques of abortion care and contrary to her claims instruments have been purposely blunt and there was no cutting.
She also made clear that the threat of getting left sterile by an abortion in Britain was “quite, really low”.
