A terminally ill teenager has returned to hospital days after celebrating raising much more than £3m for a cancer charity.
Stephen Sutton told supporters on Facebook on Sunday he was back in hospital right after developing “breathing troubles” the previous evening.
The 19-12 months-old has collected much more than £3.22m for the Teenage Cancer Trust since posting a image of himself in hospital in April with a goodbye message when he believed he was near to death.
Even so, he produced what he referred to as “a miraculous recovery”, coughing up a tumour, and following successful surgery was effectively sufficient to be discharged from Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth hospital on two Might.
But commenting on his Facebook webpage, he told supporters he was yet again posting from his hospital bed.
He stated: “Sadly I have ended up back in hospital. I had some breathing issues beginning last [Saturday] evening and after going to A&E have been admitted back to a ward for monitoring.
“I’ve nonetheless got the cough, then fairly rapidly produced a wheeze in my breathing and breathlessness on any physical exertion.
“There’s no immediate panic and I’m currently really stable – I have been place on nebulisers and other meds which are at the moment helping my signs and symptoms hugely.”
