Volunteering to have a cup of tea with a lonely pensioner could be more beneficial than a pay a visit to from a specialist care worker, a minister has stated.
Norman Lamb, the care minister, explained that there is “no substitute for companionship” and urged folks to “attain out to someone” in their nearby neighborhood.
