Healthier recipes: sweet potato brownies


If I have been asked my favourite food items, the checklist would be: sweet potatoes, dates, cacao, raw brownies and avocado. So it seems organic to mix at least four of the 5, which is exactly what




I did in these brownies. They are the sweetest, softest, most moist, chocolatey brownies ever. And they have only 6 substances, all entirely natural and unrefined. The mixture is so heavenly that you will want to eat the total factor with a spoon. Really do not fail to remember that raw cacao is also a superfood as it is such a wealthy source of antioxidants, as effectively as getting packed with a variety of other beneficial nutrients: manganese, which aids oxygenate the blood magnesium, which assists maintain healthful nerves, muscle tissue and bones and sulphur, which builds sturdy nails and hair, and promotes gorgeous skin.




two medium to huge sweet potatoes




⅔ cup ground almonds


½ cup buckwheat flour (brown rice flour will also function)


four tbsp raw cacao


three tbsp pure maple syrup


Pre-heat the oven to 180C/gas mark 4, then peel the sweet potatoes. Lower them into chunks and area in a steamer for about 20 minutes, till they become truly soft. When they are starting to fall apart, take away them and place them in the meals processor with the pitted dates and mix. Put the remaining substances in a bowl just before mixing in the sweet-potato and date blend. Stir properly.


Spoon the mixture into a lined baking dish 10x20cm and cook for about 20 minutes, or till you can pierce the brownie cake with a fork and bring it out dry. Remove the tray from the oven and permit it to awesome for about 10
