The campaign to persuade the training secretary, Michael Gove, to support finish female genital mutilation by telling headteachers in England to educate mothers and fathers and kids about the practice has gathered more than 200,000 signatures in eight days.


The Modify.org website says a petition on the situation, backed by the Guardian, is one particular of the quickest developing it has seen in Britain. I am in the method of beginning that discussion with workers and households that I work with and agree that this requirements to be addressed and schools can be instrumental in this.”
